Lucy is one of our darkest spirits ever.
Lucy is not a sweet spirit by any means, but she will help you get the job done if you have an axe to grind with someone. She is bad to the bone!
Lucy's family was not treated well due to their practices. Her father, her mother, several aunts and uncles, and even her grandparents were all witches. They practiced white magick, initially, but even though they were saving lives, helping people, and doing good deeds without getting properly thanked, what they were doing, according to most of the people in their community, was "the devil's work". Back in the day, white magick was not considered to be anything short of blasphemous, even if it saved a life. Because of this, they were constantly attacked. It should not have surprised anyone in their community that they turned to black magick when their lightwork was not appreciated.
Mostly, they needed to turn to black magick for defense. Eventually, they ended up using it to "right" many "wrongs". Retaliation became second nature to them.
Lucy was becoming of age to learn the craft after the family turned dark, so she does not have a lot of experience with white magick. What she knows about black magick makes up for it ten-fold though. She itches for an excuse to use it every single day.
When someone adopts Lucy, they become her family. She will stick by her new family and defend them to the end. She will still call her keeper nasty names at times if she doesn't get her way, but she will not go against any rules you set. She will actually respect you for setting boundaries and forcing her to adhere to them.
Lucy was born in upstate New York on October 28, 1858 and died on December 25, 1889. In her 31 years of life, she says that she retaliated against over 1,000 people, saved the lives of 90 people and hundreds of animals, and killed to survive and/or defend her family and animals, but the number she killed was not offered. She simply shrugged her shoulders, when asked. The fact that she saved so many human and animal lives means that she is also a lightworker, but she won't hear of that. She never wants to be referred to as a white witch or a healer.
Obviously, you won't want her to kill anyone if she is in your keep, so you will simply tell her that killing is not allowed as long as she is living with you, and she will obey.
Some of the things she has done to retaliate against people who have harmed her, her family, or just people she has seen doing unspeakable things to people include:
- Making all their hair fall out
- Pushing their vehicle over a bank so they roll their car
- Making something fly into their eye, blinding them in that eye
- Making them gain so much weight that they had to start using a walker
- Making them believe their significant other was cheating on them by fabricating photos and videos and sending them to them
- Making their clothes fall off in public, exposing their bare asses to everyone around them
- Giving them a mouthful of toothaches
- Making them heave or vomit for almost 24 hours straight
- Giving them a heightened sense of smell, and only allowing them to smell cow manure no matter how many candles they lit or how much air freshener they used. She says this one is her favorite and she does it quite often because it drives the people insane. Even if they put a clothes pin on their nose, they will smell it as if they shoved the "stuff" up into their own nostrils themselves! She said when she gets bored with cow manure, she will use sulfur, so they think they are smelling rotten eggs or flatulence aftermath!
Lucy got her nickname "Loose Legs" because she flat out told us she was quite the little ho in her most recent past life. Also, she is a ball-joint doll, so her legs are actually physically quite loose! She can be twisted and turned in many directions. Her head, arms and legs are all ball-jointed. Her arm sockets are loose, so her shoulders/arms slide around and out of the socket most of the time, but the strings inside hold them well and as long as you do not intentionally cut those strong strings, her arms will stay intact. Her sweater also keeps them from appearing as if they are loose. You literally cannot tell there is an issue with stretched-out strings unless you look for it. Her vessel is made of porcelain and it is made very well. It is an older antique.
Lucy's favorite color is red. Her favorite things to do are hunting, fishing, watching trains, riding on buses and in cars, and watching Supernatural on TV. Her favorite foods and drinks are tomato juice, deviled eggs, Cap'n Crunch cereal, milk, all red meats (cooked rare), and bubble gum or spearmint flavored gum. She also likes beads, wire, and roses (believe it or not)! She especially likes these things if they are red.
