Charlotte married her best friend, Bradley, in March of 1861. They were born in the same week, and they were next-door neighbors. They grew up together, fell in love, and married when they were 17. Sadly, Charlotte lost Bradley to the Civil War in the early part of April, 1863.
Bradley was her soul mate; she was sure of it. When she got word he was killed in action, she was devastated. She didn't feel like she could go on.
She could not eat and she did not leave her home for three weeks. Her mother and her sister practically moved into her house to take care of her since she was not taking care of herself, but their efforts were all for naught. They could not get her to eat. She had no will to live, and because of that, she, too, perished in April of 1963. She went to sleep one night and did not wake up the next morning. Her mother found her lifeless body.
Charlotte would like a keeper who is not afraid to learn new things. During her short life here on Earth, she learned some things that she never told anyone, aside from her husband. When she was 13, she astral traveled from her house to Bradley's house, which was the next house up the street from hers. She had no idea how she did it though.
She was able to tell Bradley the next morning what color his pajamas were that he slept in the night before. He laughed and thought that she had walked to his house and peered at him through the window, but she assured him that her spirit left her body, and she was able to make her way to his home. To prove it, she did it again the next night, and this time she pushed his book off his night stand. The next morning, she told him it was she who pushed his book. He knew then that she was not fabricating this tale, and he begged her to teach him how to do it. She was not sure she could teach him though because she was not even sure how she did it herself!
The first time she did it, it just sort of happened on its own. The only thing she remembers doing as she fell asleep was she thought about Bradley, and wished she could be with him and in his arms, for she was already in love with him then. She did not tell Bradley she had these feelings for him though, so she could not tell him how her wish became a reality.
A year later, Bradley professed his love for her, much to her surprise! He kissed her under the oak tree between their homes and he told her he was in love with her. From that moment on, they were inseparable, and Charlotte then taught him the ropes in astral travel. They would astral travel together at least once a week from there on in. Once they were married, they traveled together more often, and they went even further than ever before. They would travel for miles and miles together, and it was magical! They continued to enjoy this secret life together all the way up to the date he was sent away to fight in the Civil War. When he left, Charlotte would try to locate him at night in her travels, but she was not able to find him anywhere. She finally gave up, and kept herself busy so she would not think about his absence, and worry for his life.
Charlotte is still very much in love with Bradley in the spirit realm, and she travels to visit with him often. They meet up together almost every night. He is not attached to an object like Charlotte is, because he has yet to master that feat. She can only meet him "out there" to spend time with him, then return to her vessel.
She wishes to teach her keeper how to astral travel so that maybe she can travel with him or her. She will come to her keeper in their dreams to show them visually how she does it. If her keeper is good at meditation, she will also show them some things while they meditate if they focus on her.
