Description:

Cathleen occupies this small designer doll which is a depiction of Catherine Parr, who was the sixth queen of Henry VIII.  Catherine Parr lived from 1512 - 1548. The doll was made in England.

Cathleen is from England, as well, but she was not of the same status as Catherine Parr. In fact, she envied Catherine Parr to an unhealthy degree. She wanted to BE Catherine. She was jealous of her for many reasons, but mostly because she was the Queen of England and she was married to King Henry. These are things that Cathleen wanted and thought she would have, but she never did.

Cathleen cried herself to sleep many nights, as she began to realize she would never be as beautiful as Catherine Parr, nor would she be the queen. The queen knew she was bitter and that she envied her. She looked down on Cathleen like she was a peasant.

Eventually, Cathleen started to come to terms with thee fact that she would never take the queen's place, and this is when her life changed for the better.

Without the negative feelings of envy, jealousy, and hatred, Cathleen became more and more beautiful each day. In three months' time, she actually caught the attention of the king, and before long, she became his mistress.  Queen Catherine walked in on her husband and Catherine one evening when the king did not expect her to be around. She threatened to have Cathleen killed if she did not leave immediately and never return.  Cathleen left immediately, half grinning, because she was finally the envy of the queen rather than the other way around. She never did go back, but the king went to her as often as he could. Catherine knew this was happening, but she turned a blind eye to it.

Cathleen is not proud of what she did today. In spirit, she feels differently about the decisions she made when she was in the flesh. She is quite disappointed in herself. However, she remembers what it felt like to be unnoticeable and to be treated like a nobody. In spirit, she likes to help people be the best that they can be in all ways. She will help her keeper be his or her best. If this, to you, means being intelligent, she will help you become smarter. If it means becoming more beautiful to you, she will help you become more beautiful. If it means becoming thinner, happier, healthier, more charismatic, or more compassionate, she will help you with any of those things. Whatever it is you wish you could be more like, she will help you to be just that.

Cathleen's vessel, including garments, are all in excellent condition. She is simply stunning, standing at about 8" tall.
