Nephthys, aka the Goddess of the Air, was not only a goddess of death, decay, and darkness but also a magician with great healing powers. So with Nephthys, we have our yin and our yang. Balance!

Goddess Nephthys has given Stormy permission to offer 21 portals through which to communicate with her (to 21 different customers). She will consider offering more after 21 portals have been assigned,, depending on how much the original 21 portals are used. Stormy works with Goddess Nephthys fairly frequently, and has a great rapport with her. The portals are offered on a first come, first served basis. You do not have to contact us before purchasing this portal (or most portals, unless otherwise specified).

Nephthys can help you heal and protect your spirit, and she will protect you and your family in matters relating to physical health, upon request. Anything you'd like Goddess Nephthys to help you with must be relayed to her through the portal. It takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour for the portal creation to be completed by Meta or Mya Moondance. We will coordinate a time that this will be done with you after you purchase the portal.

If you are a spirit keeper, Nephthys will protect your spirits from dark entities.

Instructions on how to communicate with Nephthys through a portal will be emailed to you upon purchase. A portal must be created for you when you purchase from this listing. We can create the portal from an object you have such as a crystal, a statue, jewelry, or anything you like, or you can be the portal. If creating the portal through your person, please send a recent photo of yourself to us if we do not already have one on file. If creating out of an object, please send us a photo of that object and keep it out in the open until you receive an email that your order is complete. Please also contact us if we have not sent your portal instructions to you within 24 hours of submitting your order.

More about Goddess Nephthys:

The anthropomorphic (human) goddess Nephthys fulfilled many roles in the Egyptian pantheon, but her most important was certainly as a protectress of the dead. She is most often depicted in the role of a mourner, specifically mourning the deceased god of the netherworld, her brother Osiris. The goddess was also credited with helping to raise her nephew Horus, the son of Osiris and Isis. In addition, Nephthys fulfilled an important role as the consort of Seth, the god of chaos and Osiris’s murderer and brother.

As a protectress and mourner of the dead, Nephthys was most frequently invoked in funerary cults. Her image is used on many funerary instruments, most notably canopic jars (jars in which the deceased’s organs were kept), as she was considered the guardian of the lungs.

Consequently, amulets of Nephthys are most frequently used in funerary contexts, secured within mummy bandages in order to protect the deceased. These amulets are of a particularly late date, starting in the 26th Dynasty (ca. 664-525 BCE). In these amulets, Nephthys is most often pictured standing and wearing her typical headdress, which is comprised of the signs that spell her name (“nebet-hut,” meaning “Lady of the Mansion”).
