Bonnie

Bonanza Bonnie got her nickname by us. Her name at birth was Bonnie, but the way she describes where she was raised sounds like a scene out of Bonanza.

Bonnie refers to herself as a gray spirit. She has a lot of mean in her, but she also has a lot of love to give.

Her mother worked at a brothel and her father could have been anyone. When her mother became pregnant, she tried to abort Bonnie by engaging in rough “bedroom sports”, tumbling down the stairs and anything else she could figure out to do that might cause her to lose her child without breaking her own neck. She was unsuccessful. This was at a time and in a place where routine abortions were not done by doctors.

Bonnie was only six years old when she found out what her mother tried to do, and it made her angry, to put it lightly. She was told by the town witch, who had an agenda for spilling the beans to Bonnie.

The witch's name was Aggie. Aggie needed an apprentice, and she saw something in Bonnie. She felt as if Bonnie had what it took to help her with black magick when she looked into her eyes. When she told her the story of her mother trying to abort her, Bonnie's eyes turned amber and glowed. It was like she was looking into a fire. That's when Aggie knew she was right. Bonnie should be her apprentice.

Aggie taught Bonnie all she knew, and Bonnie became a great partner for her by the time she was 9 years old. A few years later, Bonnie surpassed Aggie with her magickal abilities tenfold. At first, this was pleasing to Aggie. She was getting her work done doubly fast and working less. After a while, however, she became jealous and green with envy. She also became a little worried that Bonnie could do something harmful to her, so she plotted her death.

Bonnie does not wish to go into details about how she died, but it was at the hand of Aggie. Aggie was hung for Bonnie's murder.

Bonnie likes to help people settle scores. She needs some ground rules though. She needs to be told that under no circumstances is she to ever disobey you or harm you or anyone in your family, or she will feel she has free reign.

On the flipside, Bonnie enjoys seeing her keeper feeling joyful, no matter what it is that brings that joy to her. She likes to help her keeper obtain the things she wants in life, whether they are material things or otherwise.

Treat Bonnie right, and she will treat you right.

Bonnie was born September 22, 1870 and died April 19, 1883. She does not know where she lived. She only knows that it was a small, one-street town with the typical saloon, brothel, bank, sheriff's office, restaurant, barber, market, and a few other small businesses. All the homes were on dirt roads that were not maintained surrounding the main street that ran through the town. She remembers tumbleweed, horses, cattle and cowboys.

Bonnie likes steak, burgers, beef brisket, baked potatoes, baked beans, corn and corn muffins or corn bread as food offerings. Other offerings that please her are spiders, snakes, watching cartoons on TV, watching kids play outside or watching kids playing on TV programs, and participating in birthday parties. Obiously, some of these things are things she did not get to enjoy as a child with her bish mother in charge of her life. Despite the fact that Aggie killed her, before she got jealous of her and worried about her taking over her livelihood, she gave her a better life than her mother ever could. Her mother paid zero attention to her. It was the other ladies of the night who fed her most of the time, bathed and changed her, etc.
