This Vintage Obsidian Arrowhead carving dates to before the 1700s! It was made by an ancestor of an acquaintance to the Moondance family. When he passed, we purchased it at his estate sale.
This arrowhead has a lot of history having been passed through the generations over the centuries!
A specialist in our neighborhood does not believe the arrowhead was actually used for any kills, but rather as a trophy arrowhead, as it does not show any signs of that type of use, but we do not know this with all certainty, as he would give us only a 99% probability that it was never used.
