Kunzite is more dense than some of the other crystals we carry. A 30-gram piece can typically pan out to about a 1-inch square of material, if the piece happens to be square. All of our raw pieces for this listing are at least 30 grams in weight, so obviously, some of the longer pieces will not be as wide, if the shape is not square-ish!

High heat or sudden temperature changes can cause breaks in kunzite. The gem's color can fade with prolonged exposure to heat or intense light. It's important to avoid steam or ultrasound for cleaning kunzite: Warm, soapy water works best.
