Super seven, also referred to as the melody stone or the sacred stone, is a rare crystal made up of seven minerals. Amethyst, cacoxenite, clear quartz, goethite, lepidocrocite, rutile, and smoky quartz can all be found in this amazing crystal.

Super seven used to be found only in the southeastern coastal state Espírito Santo in Brazil. Today, the crystal is also extracted in Australia and Madagascar. It occurs as inclusions in amethyst deposits.

The presence of different minerals imparts assorted colors to the crystal. Super seven commonly has a light to deep purple color with dark brown, orange, and red inclusions.

Some specimens have rutile inclusions that give the crystal a brown, black, purple, or gray shade. Still, other specimens contain hematite that give them an unusual red hue.

Super seven has a hardness rating of 7. It can be transparent to opaque.
