Dare admits his given birth name was not Dare, but he has not given us his real name from his most recent previous life. He says that from the time he was about 9 years old, Dare has been his nickname, given to him by his only friend, so he's stuck to it for the rest of his life and he sticks with it now in the afterlife, as he did not care for his "Junior Name". Meta asked him if this meant his name was "Junior". He said no, he was a Junior, meaning he was named after his father, and he disliked his father, so he didn't want to use that name anymore. Fair enough.

He said his father treated him poorly because he wanted Dare to be a well-rounded child who played sports and also got good grades in school, but Dare was only interested in alchemy, witchcraft, and doing things solo rather than participating in team sports. He had little time to worry with his school work and no time at all to be trying to be a jock, he said. His father forced him to play sports when he was 7 years old but stopped forcing him by the time he was 10, because he could see that Dare clearly had no team sports talent in him whatsoever. This embarrassed his father and Dare felt he was even ashamed of him. His father spent way more time with his sister than he did with him, because his sister at least enjoyed watching sports events with her father, even if she was not very talented to play many sports herself.

When Dare did do anything aside from practicing the Craft, he always did solo things like climbing trees, going white water rafting by himself, learning daredevil stunts with his bicycle, and other things that never involved other kids or teamwork. Team sports were definitely not for him, because he really didn't like many other people at all. He loved his mother and his sister, plus one other person - a girl who lived about a mile away from him. She was unlike other girls. She also walked to the beat a different drum and did her own thing rather than doing what her parents and society thought she should do. Her name was Janet.

Janet was the only one he would invite to go exploring with him. They spent hours every weekend searching for herbs, berries, minerals, crystals, and other things to use in witchcraft. She was interested in learning the craft too, and together, they practiced quite a bit. By the time they were 13 years old, they had manifested many things together. Dare attributes his knowledge to the craft by reading so-called fairy tales since he was five years old, which he says were not tales at all. He tells us that the authors of those books wrote the books referring to them as fairy tales, but they knew that what they were writing was actually truth. They just didn't want to be taken away by men in white coats, so they wrote them as if they referred to them as lore, even though they turned out to be truthful accounts of the things they knew.

Dare said that many, many movies for the silver screen that have been produced over the years and that are still produced are brought to us in the same fashion. The writers of these story lines know that they are based on facts, but they also knows they must portray them as fantasy, or they will be looked at as if they need to be locked up. He said Stephen King is one of the writers of books and producers of movies based on those books who is most guilty of writing his stories as fiction when they are actually factual, or at least the baselines for them. Kind of scary, when you think about it! Dean Koontz is another writer who has actually witnessed many of the things he writes about, and Alfred Hitchcock was another one.

Dare uses his talent in the Craft to manifest great things, but he enjoys casting dark spells, as well.

What Dare is looking for in a keeper:

  • He would like his new keeper to be someone who is a little bit of light and a little bit of dark. He said there are bonus points for a keeper who is "quirky".
  • Someone who does their own thing regardless of what people think.
  • Someone who doesn't care that the things they like to do, how they dress, or what their tastes are in all things might make people look at them like they're weird.
  • Someone who isn't afraid of someone like Dare, who is a little different.

If you have no interest in witchcraft, that's OK, as long as you don't mind that he will be working on things when you're doing your own thing. He said he can't stop. Every time he manifests something, he gets a rush from it. He has manifested things that he wanted for himself such as expensive things he could not normally afford on his own as well as money, but he has also manifested things to happen, such as someone he dislikes getting their karma handed to them. He said he's not sure which type of manifestation he likes the most.

If you do enjoy the Craft and want to help him with his goals, that's fine too, and he will also help you get what you want using the Craft. He likes working mostly with herbs and crystals, so he refers to himself as a Garden Witch slash Crystal Witch, but he also likes to dabble with intense moon water from time to time. (Water that is charged under a Super Moon, a Harvest Moon, a Blue Moon, a Red Moon, etc.)

He will help you manifest good outcomes, bad outcomes for your enemies, and things that are not tangible, such as finding love, a daily feeling of euphoria or happiness,  and many other intangible things.

Dare lived to be 99 years old, but he identifies with his 12-year-old persona the best. He said when he was 12 years old, he had the most fun of his life, and he manifested the best things that year, so this is how he shows himself to us, and this is the age he acts out in the afterlife.

His vessel is a marionette doll, which could use a little tweaking. It just needs some longer strings if you want him to walk properly. His legs stay in a curled up position, as you see in the photos, most of the time when he is hanging from the hook we keep him on most of the time (his preference is to "dangle"). His vessel is adorable though, as you can see. I would guess it to be about 12" tall from the top of his head to his feet, if he is straightened out on a table. He is not opposed to being bridged to a crystal or another doll, as long as the doll can be viewed as being of the male persuasion. He said he was male in all his lives so far, and in his next life he will also be male.

He has dark hair, dark eyes, and very pale skin in his apparition, which shows us how he looked when he was 12.

Update: He finally just told us his real given name was Filbert, but please do not all him by this name. He said to only call him Dare, or give him a new name. We just wanted to give you this tidbit of info for your own records.

His favorite offerings include: ALL THINGS THAT WILL HELP HIM WITH THE CRAFT!

He said he does not need any food offerings or anything shiny. Just herbs of your choice, flowers, weeds, leaves, sand or dirt, and even grass from your yard will help him. He doesn't need all these things at once, either. Once you put something in front of him for even a few hours, it will be forever in his "bank" of tools to use. He likes all crystals except for turquoise. He says turquoise always gives him bad vibes, and he thinks that's because his father always wore a turquoise belt buckle. He only asks that all these things you offer him are natural. No silk flowers or fake crystals. Moon water is also greatly appreciated by him. His favorite colors are green and orange.
