Paris

Paris was the one in her day who cooked for people who needed to get healthier, and coached them to see that they got the exercise they needed. She did all this in her own free time and for no pay, because she wanted to help people who were not fit, suffering from ailments and diseases, obese, and/or in overall poor health due to their habits.

Her vessel is quite large, so please note that shipping on her will be more costly than the average doll vessel. She stands about 26-27" tall. Her vessel is beautiful, but the lacework on the front of her dress could use some work, which we likely won't have time to work on unless she is here with us for a few more months. The vessel is vintage (1980).

She was born into a wealthy family in 1844 in the Atlanta area of Georgia, USA. When she was 17, her oldest brother, Abe, was sure that he would be asked to serve in the military, and he was worried. He was quite chunky, and already had joint pain at his young age of 20 due to the excess weight he was carrying around. Their father was fit, as were the other two boys in the family. Abe was the only one in the family with health issues.

Paris also worried about Abe. She knew that if he went with his father to serve, he would have a hard time keeping up. Her father was already hard enough on Abe, not understanding how he could be the way he was and constantly badgering him by saying things like, "stop eating" and "get up and do something". This did nothing but hurt Abe's situation more, as stress was the main cause for his food addiction and depression kept him from having the energy to do anything. He did not necessarily have anything to feel depressed about, Paris tells us. She feels it was a hormonal imbalance. Something they knew nothing of in this era.

Paris worked with Abe in a loving way, and she offered to cook him special meals. He accepted, and within 8 months, he had lost all his excess fat. His knees and his ankles felt better, and he was running like a regular guy his age for the first time since he was five. He and his father and younger brother were all off to the civil war just weeks after Abe reached his goals, and they all came back from the war in one piece. Abe told her that had he not been able to run the way he did, he was sure he would have been shot down a couple times while they were away.

This was the start of Paris's calling to help others. She started up a program she called Project Paris. This program was open to anyone who was not fit and needed to learn how to eat healthier and become stronger and more energetic. She did not know the science of it all, but she knew that those who ate more vegetables, fruits, and lean meats, and less bread and starchy or sweet foods were healthier. Their bodies were leaner and they suffered fewer health problems. She worked with over 100 people from start to finish, and they all became more fit. Many reported less inflammation. Most reported having more energy just from changing their diet, which is when they started to do more than sit around.

Paris says she did not do any research and she had no formal education on fitness. She only knew that people were healthier when they ate the way she did, and they were usually not fit at all if they ate the way Abe did before she started helping him. The way she has helped other keepers who had her before she came to us was by giving them a knowing, helping them with willpower to eat the right things, and giving them an overall feeling of special warmth and excessive love when they made the right decision. She always makes you feel warm and loved, but this feeling goes way beyond that. It's a validation that you are going about things in the right way, and it makes you feel as if there's no food or drink in this world that could make you stop what you're doing.

Just as with Abe, she said her keepers all felt more energy after they dropped enough excess weight to gain that energy. That's when they all started to exercise more. One of them is now a fitness trainer and owns her own gym. She was over 250 pounds and only 5 ft. 2 inches when she adopted Paris. She went from size 20 to size 3 in 13 months. She lived to be 91. We took Paris in when her keeper's daughter contacted us shortly after she passed.

Paris passed away when she was 38 from a fever that could not be controlled. She was married to a man named William and they had two children. William Jr., and Passion. She says they all visit with her, but she is the only one attached to a vessel.

Mya told her we would be happy to conjure them and help them find vessels they like so that they can go wherever she goes to her next "permanent" home. She said she'd have to think about that. They can visit her anytime they wish now, and she doesn't want the adoption fees to become more than most keepers could handle.

The adoption fees would not be that much if Mya were to add this to her package though. We have doll vessels and many other things here that she could conjure them to, and these are all things we didn't pay much for. Maybe $20 on average, plus the conjure fee. Keep that in mind as an option, but since her husband and children will always be in contact with her, we will always be able to add a service like this later.

The upside to doing it all now is that if they chose small vessels, which we would encourage, there would not be any extra shipping fees involved, assuming you opted for this all together so we could ship all four vessels in one box. The third option would be for Meta or Mya to conjure them to something you own down the road, which would also result in zero shipping fees. If you think there is any chance you'd like to talk about an all-inclusive package for Paris's whole family, please note this when you contact us about getting pre-qualified to adopt Paris.

Paris likes walnuts, almonds, green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, berries with whipped cream, and smoked salmon with smoked gouda cheese as food offerings. Other offerings she is appreciative of include red flowers that are either fresh or dried, jump ropes, anything peach, orange or red in color, watching yoga on TV, sitting in the sun or at a window, and watching TV shows that show the progress of people combating illnesses, obesity, heart problems or diseases. She also likes to listen to music that her keeper enjoys.
