Morlene was a dwarf in her most recent previous life. She was born in Sweden but died in Denmark in 1957. She had several health problems from birth, including deafness. Her family moved to Denmark where she could get better care for her multitude of health issues. The doctors there were able to extend her life by several years, but she passed at age 31 from her more severe complications.
She believes it was due to her disabilities that she had extra sensory abilities. She knows in advance when someone is plotting something shady, and she won't let anything get by her keeper. She also knows how someone truly feels about people, things, and situations. So when you buy your significant other a gift and they say they love it, Morlene will blow the whistle on them and tell you the truth!
When your best friend has designs on your significant other, Morlene will let you in on it. If your significant other is about to propose, unfortunately, it won't be a surprise. Morlene's fault, if you can call it that, is that she never knows when it is a good thing to spill the beans, and when it's not. She will only do this for a single keeper though, so it must be established WHO in your household will be her keeper from the start. Once she knows who that person is, she will be loyal to them to the end. She will tell everyone in your household if there's going to be something happen that involves all of you though. For example, if your house is going to catch fire in the middle of the night, you'll all know, because it is useful information for everyone in the home. If you are her keeper and your spouse asks her if you liked what he or she cooked for dinner that evening, she will remain tight-lipped, whether she believes you liked it or not. This keeps anyone else in the family or your circle of friends from being able to make assumptions. No response is neither positive nor negative. It's simply her keeping her loyalty to you.
Morlene had one other keeper for a brief time. Unfortunately, her keeper did not listen to her when she warned her about a car accident she would be in if she didn't call off work. The woman told Morlene she would simply take an alternate route. Morelene told her it did not matter what route she took, because other people who would be involved in this accident were also going to be warned of it, and some would take that same alternate route. She was destined to be in a car accident unless she changed the entire course of her day and stayed home that day. Morlene's keeper did not die in that accident. She went into a coma. Morlene stayed with her for 4 years while she was in the coma. Her keeper's husband set her in a chair next to her, hoping Morlene would talk with her and that she would hear her. Morlene says her keeper could hear her talking to her, but she could not respond, of course, because she was in a coma. Her keeper passed away four years after the accident, and her husband shipped her to us from Norway.
Morlene chose Norway as her place to "float around" after she passed, because she had always wanted to visit, if not move to Norway in her previous life. She loves the lakes, the clean air, and the landscape. She enjoys the USA as well, but she admits she sneaks over to Norway as well as Sweden and Denmark on occasion.
Morlene's dislikes are fake people and people who have to keep up with the Joneses. She does not like to be around people who live for appearances or have to live high on the hog. She likes a simple life and she likes people who love nature and animals.
Her favorite things for offerings are watching nature documentaries, watching kids and animals play and frolic, cinnamon rolls and a few other baked goods, milkshakes, watermelon, corn, potatoes, feathers, fake fur, Easter eggs (real or plastic), and Himalayan pink salt. Her favorite colors are all shades of blue and green.
