Joy - Black Magick Witch Spirit/Manifestation Spirit - Read Carefully!

Joy is a very disturbed spirit. She died in a fire when she was 17. She just interrupted me to correct me. She was murdered in a fire when she was 17 on Valentine's Day, 1577, in Lockport, New York. 

She was born into a family of witches. Magick, the dark arts in particularly, ran in their veins. Her mother, sisters, grandmother, uncle, and brother were all born witches. Her great grandmother made a deal with a demon that if she were granted ten more years of life after discovering she had cancer that he could turn all her living children and grandchildren into his little helpers by turning them dark. In addition, all of their children and future generations would also be born dark witches. 

When Joy was born, it was recognized early on that she was special. She was born with eyes that glowed red when she got angry. Everyone in the family knew right from the start that she was going to be the most powerful of them to date, and they rejoiced in this discovery.

All was well until she was 15 and her cousin Clara was 18. Clara was jealous of all the attention Joy got. She grew tired of the spotlight being on Joy at every family gathering. She would eventually have her revenge, but she needed to be careful. She couldn't let on to anyone in the family that bad things happening to Joy were manifested by her. 

She plotted and planned for over two years before she finally came up with a way to get Joy out of her life permanently. The family was planning a bonfire party for Valentine's Day, which was right around the corner when Clara came up with this idea. They had bonfires out next to the barn at her parents' house for almost every family gathering, and they never extinguished the fire at the end of the night. They would always let it burn down, because it was pretty well contained with a large metal ring.

Clara's idea is that she would lure Joy into the barn and burn the barn down, with her in it. She would put Joy into a trance state and, with the help of her most potent spell, she would convince her that she needed to stay put no matter how hot the fire got. She would also start the tall grass on fire in a path to the fire ring so that it looked as if the fire got out of hand.

Her plan worked, and Joy died in a barn fire that night after everyone else was in their homes sleeping soundly. No one in the family ever knew that it was Clara who started the fire. They thought Joy was in there doing witchcraft and fell trying to escape the fire. Joy did not know that Clara started the fire and killed her intentionally until after she passed and saw her life review. She's been looking for Clara ever since to get her revenge, but without any luck. She knows this means that Clara has reincarnated, probably several times, since the incident. She takes one evening a week to scout for her soul, and she promises us that when she finds Clara, the person she is today will pay for what she did. She said she will make sure that "Clara", (present day human that holds Clara's spirit) will first remember what she did to Joy all those lifetimes ago, right before she tortures him or her.

If you have no problem with her taking one evening a week (she prefers Friday nights) to leave her vessel so she can continue on her hunt for Clara, she promises you that any manifestation efforts you are attempting in your life will be enhanced by her touch, and she's very good at manifesting.

Offerings: Joy said she would love nothing better than for you to rename her, for starters. Give her any "badass name", is what she said specifically. She said she never liked her name, because it does not represent her in any fashion. Her favorite food offerings are cauliflower, raisins, grapes, clam chowder (either style), gummy bears, any meat seasoned with Italian herbs and garlic, and hot cereal. She likes to listen to scary music like they make for Halloween and she loves participating in practical jokes. Her favorite color is burnt orange, and she loves working with hematite, stibnite, and black obsidian crystals.
