Cressida has been able to levitate since she was a toddler. By the time she was 8 years old, she was having OBEs (out of body experiences). When she was 14, she astral traveled from her home to her neighbor's house, and before she turned 16, she traveled for the first time into outer space. She visited 7 other star systems and planets by the time she was 30.
When she was 31, she traveled a bit too far, and for too long. When she returned to her body, she had trouble breathing. She had been gone for four days in Earth time. The problem with leaving our bodies for extended periods of time is that there is no concept of time once we leave our bodies and leave earth, so as a human being, Cressida was not mindful of "time", and it can be dangerous to leave our bodies for more than a few hours at a time.
Cressida developed breathing issues and landed herself in the hospital on the day she returned from her 4-day astral trip. She thought at the time it was because of being away from her body for too long, but now she believes the breathing issues were on the horizon for her anyway. The trip just made it worse. She passed away three months later. She was only 31 years of age.
Since Cressida has moved on to the spirit world, she has a handle on how long one can safely leave their bodies, because she can monitor a person's spirit and their body at the same time. She has helped over 400 people astral travel since
She teaches levitation, then moves on to Astral travel. She says she makes it easy for anyone to learn astral projection and travel, but not everyone will learn to levitate. They are not the same thing. One is mind over matter and the other is pulling yourself out of your body, so they do not go hand-in-hand. She simply likes to attempt to teach people both activities since she was able to do both of them in her most recent past life.
If you are not clairaudient or clairvoyant, Cressida will send mind messages to you while you are awake. They will appear to you as motion pictures and you will hopefully also hear her voice as she explains her techniques. She says that some people have heard her only, some have received her picture shows without hearing her voice, and some were receptive to both her voice and her visuals. The more you are able to hear and see, the easier it will be for you to learn her techniques. Try meditating to clear your mind before you ask her to help you.
The way Tracy learned from her (Tracy the Office Manager here at MM) was by setting a date and time that she would attempt to travel. She told Cressida she wanted to try on a day that she had off work, which was a Saturday at that time. She told her they would try it at 11 am. She took Cressida home with her for the weekend. She reminded Cressida around 9 am that she wanted to travel at 11 am. Then she meditated for an hour. After that, she had a warm bubble bath by candle light to further relax herself. At 11 am, she lied on her bed in her robe, and told Cressida she was ready. She closed her eyes, and she saw Cressida showing her how to leave her body. Cressida appeared in her thoughts as if she was standing right in front of her. Tracy was able to leave her body that very same day. She hovered over her own body for about 20 seconds, she said. That was the first of several OBEs Tracy had since meeting Cressida. She no longer asks Cressida to aid her since she knows the technique now. She just practices on her own. She has gotten as far as hovering over her house at this point (at the time of this listing), and she continues to practice.
