Cricket is primarily a Kitchen Witch and a healer, but she also enjoys working with crystals and a variety of tools. She's a white magick witch. She will not participate in black magick, but she doesn't care if her keeper dabbles in the dark arts. She wants to be with someone who feels they could use her expertise and good luck when it comes to witchcraft. Everything she gets involved in turns out positive. She says she has rarely participated in witchcraft when it hasn't given her the results she desired.  Even Meta is impressed with her track record.

Cricket will happily be remotely bound to you or to an object or be shipped to you attached to her current doll vessel. She likes dogs and cats but she stressed "No rodents". She does not like hamsters, Guinea pigs, or anything similar. She loves kids and she loves being around someone who isn't afraid to learn new things in witchcraft.

Cricket never married in her most recent previous life. She found that having someone around too long in her home gave them too much privileged information about her works, and she preferred to work solo. She now realizes she could have gotten so much more done if she had trusted someone to be her partner, which is what she is looking for now.

She was born May 7, 1843, in Finland, and she died April 23, 1899 in a small town called Essex in Connecticut, USA. She only had one half-sister, who was 9 years younger than her. Cricket's mother died when she was only a year old, so her father raised her alone for 7 years before he married Cricket's step mother. All the fuss was over their newborn daughter, and Cricket's half-sister, Emily, when she arrived in 1852. Cricket felt shunned and left out when her father doted on his new baby girl, barely remembering he already had one daughter. She learned to live as if she was solo from that point on. She made some friends in her childhood, but she was hard to get close to, because the only thing she knew was that when something or someone new came along, she'd be old hat.

When she was 16 years old, she ran off with a boy she met who was migrating to the United States with his family. She left with them and never returned to Finland. She said she often wonders if her father missed her.

Once Cricket arrived in Connecticut with her friend and his family, she quickly learned the area, and looked for ways to make money. She would shine shoes, work on farms, and anything she had to do to earn her keep, but she didn't seem to be able to save much, until she met the woman who lived down the street, who called herself Arrel. Arrel was in her late forties, but she looked like she was 20, and she was a witch. Cricket noticed Arrel rarely left her house, and she lived alone. How was she surviving without anyone else to help her pay for food and other necessities? She finally asked, and that's when she learned about manifestation and magick.

Arrel liked Cricket, so she taught her how to work the same magick for herself. Cricket was able to manifest enough money to get out on her own within months after learning Arrel's secrets. She remained close friends with Arrel until the day Arrel died, which was more than 25 years later.

When Arrel passed, Cricket lost her only true friend. She lived out her remaining days alone, and that was just the way she wanted it, or so she thought.

Cricket likes anything mystical or magickal as offerings. Unicorns, fairies, magickal crystals, palo santo, essential oils, magickal herbs, are just a few of her favorite things. For "consumable" offerings, she likes black olives, muscles and oysters, any type of vanilla cookie (We give her vanilla Oreos), red pepper flakes, baked or fried chicken, and anything mint-flavored, including, but not limited to, candy, gum, and cookies.

If you wish to have Cricket to be bridged remotely to yourself or to an item of your choosing, please let us know in your inquiry email about Cricket. If adoption takes place, we will remove the shipping fees prior to purchase. If bridging to another item, please also send a photo of the item for Cricket's approval. Most spirits are not fussy about their vessel, but some do have certain criteria. Items usually used for bridging are dolls, stuffed animals, jewelry, crystals and antique items, but you are welcome to present anything you have that has special meaning to you or that you believe Cricket would enjoy, based on what you know about her. Most often, the spirits just want the object to be something that you will relate with fondly and that is aesthetically pleasing to your eye.

Amazing spirits here!

I didn't get Cricket but I adopted another white magic witch from here and she is just amazing! I was getting nowhere with my efforts before I picked up Distin but the very first time she worked with me I saw results. I was working on creating a better relationship with my daughter who wouldn't give me the time of day until Distin helped me. The very next day my daughter called me and asked if I'd come over for dinner. Since then she helped me with numerous other things. Distin wasn't on the website but I just had to find a way to write a review and they said it was ok if I picked another spirit to write my review. Oh I almost forgot! When I went to there shop there were some awesome things happening! I saw one of the dolls roll her eyes. I took that as a sign she wasn't for me! Another one moved her arm and another one giggled. I knew which one it was because she was sitting alone. I picked her up and inspected. Nowhere for a recording device or anything attached to her and nothing close by. It came from her. I have been working on my gifts but that's the first time I ever heard a spirit laugh! I wish I didn't waist so much money going to other places for haunted dolls before but now I know I can drive less then an hour or they will ship too.
